Chapter Four: Seeing the wife off - page 4

  • David cuddles up to his wife: 'I won't.. Say err.. something.. to your mother from me..'
  • David then kisses her goodbye as she quips: 'I'll just tell her I've left you for a millionaire'
  • David jokes in return: 'Good idea! She might get off my case for once!' David's wife defends her mother: 'Oh she's not that bad!'
  • As she leaves with her bags to stay the weekend with her mother, she jokes once more: 'Anyway.. I should be so lucky!
  • David calls out after her: 'Bye honey!'
